Job Summary:

The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing projects within the technology department. This role involves planning, execution, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Analysis and Requirements Management: Work with business partners to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. Analyze business processes and systems, identify inefficiencies and needed improvements, and recommend solutions.
  2. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to analyze data, develop reports, and make recommendations based on findings.
  3. Project Management: Assist in the planning, design, and delivery of IT solutions. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams. Ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements, timelines, and project objectives.
  5. Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
  6. Quality Assurance: Work closely with the development team to ensure the requirements are accurately translated into solutions. Assist in quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
  7. Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  8. Team Leadership: Effectively lead project teams, set project timelines, and hold team members accountable for deliverables. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  9. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  10. Budget and Resource Management: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Manage project budgets.
  11. Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks. Develop contingency plans as needed.
  12. Quality Assurance: Ensure project outputs meet quality standards and requirements.
  13. Reporting: Track project milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of [specific industries or systems, if applicable].
  • Experience with project management and user acceptance testing is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  years of experience in project management in a technical field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
